ouen (“ou” pronounced like the “o” in “stone”, but twice as long)

support, aid, boost, cheer (verb form with する）

応募　/  おうぼ　/  oubo (“ou” is pronounced similarly to the “o” in “toe” but twice as long)

意味　いみ　meaning: application (応募　plus する　/ suru = apply), often for a job.

例　れい　example: 

新しいバイトの応募しました.

今は電話待ちです

あたらしい　ばいと　の　おうぼ　しました。　いま　でんわ　まち　です。

atarashii baito no oubo shimashita. ima wa denwa machi desu.
